Last September 5 was the Culmination of the 10th Tuna Festival in commemoration of the 40th Charterhood Anniversary of General Santos City. The hightlight of this event was the Tuna Float Competition participated by 14 float entries from fishing companies, private sectors and Schools from Gensan. The entries were really amazing, colorful and unique.
The winners of the competiton.... GRAND PRIZE WINNER: RD Corporation, 2nd Place: Coastal Barangay Bawing, 3rd Place: Tuna Canners Association of GenSan (TCAGS), 4th Place: San Andres Fishing Industries, Inc. and 5th Place: East Asia Royale Hotel
